Wolves are wildlife enemies in Elden Ring. They are roving beasts that may attack in packs. The common wolf is widespread throughout the wilds of the Lands Between, almost always encountered in packs and forewarned by its characteristic howl. Their packs are usually led by a tougher specimen distinguished by their color. They are hostile, but also relatively easy to avoid. They cannot be outrun on foot.
