Build Optimization[]
For people who wish to select an origin that will have the most optimal stat distribution for a build with the fewest stat points wasted, the Warrior is generally considered a bad option. For pure Dexterity builds, Samurai generally outclasses the Warrior due to the higher Intelligence, Mind and Arcane stats of the Warrior generating too many wasted points, while Astrologer and Prisoner are able to outclass it in Intelligence/Dexterity hybrid builds. Note that these builds are not necessarily "good", they are just what this origin is better at than any other.
Demi-Human Queen's Staff[]
Despite the unfortunate position of the Warrior, it does have a specific niche where it is considered the optimal choice, which is a pure Dexterity build that also uses between 10 and 12 Intelligence in order to cast low-level spells. Prisoner will become optimal if the intelligence required is any higher than 12, but within this range of intelligence, the Warrior origin can use the Demi-Human Queen's Staff which provides a relatively high spell scaling value for low intelligence casters, allowing for spells that deal a reasonable amount of damage. The spells that can be used within this range are:
- Glintstone Pebble
- Glintstone Stars
- Scholar's Armament
- Scholar's Shield
- Swift Glintstone Shard
- Unseen Blade
Warrior can also make use of the Horn Bow in such a build.
Trivia[]
- Warrior, alongside Prophet, first appeared in the Closed Network Test.
