Velvet Sword of St. Trina is a melee armament and straight sword in Elden Ring.
Description[]
Silver sword of St. Trina, now stained the color of velvet. Inflicts eternal sleep.
When St. Trina was abandoned, the faint, light-purple mists coalesced into an intoxicating deep-purple cloud.
Unique Skill: Mists of Eternal Sleep
Releases a velvety purple mist that spreads across a wide frontal area. Afflicts foes with eternal sleep.

Acquisition[]
From the Fissure Cross Site of Grace in Cerulean Coast, head north and drop down two stone platforms to a cliff lower down. Inside of a cave to the south that's full of slimes is also the sword, furthest in.
Notes[]
- The skill, Mists of Eternal Sleep, has two parts. The first is a fine, purple mist that inflicts 112 Eternal Sleep build-up per second for two second that is also paired with a swing of the weapon. The second is a Weapon Buff that increases the sword's innate Eternal Sleep build-up by 15 for 30 seconds.
- Since both of these parts happen at the same time, hitting both the sword and the mist on an enemy causes 169 Eternal Sleep build-up immediately.
- Similar damage and scaling as the Sword of St. Trina, and since they both inflict Sleep build-up they pair quite well together for dual-wielding.
- Scales best with Dexterity, but unlike with the Sword of St. Trina the Strength- and Intelligence-scaling isn't far behind, and its base Magic damage is far greater. This means that the sword deals roughly equal amounts of damage on a hybrid Strength/Dexterity build, a pure Dexterity build, and a hybrid Dexterity/Intelligence build.
- For comparison (unmentioned stats are at the minimum required level): 45 Strength and 45 Dexterity grants 534 AP, 80 Dexterity grants 534 AP, and 45 Dexterity and 45 Intelligence grants 522 AP.
Upgrade Information[]
- Upgraded with Somber Smithing Stones.
- Cannot have its Affinity and Skill changed.
- The upper number in the Atk column denotes Physical base damage while the lower, colored number in the Atk column denotes elemental base damage: red for Fire damage, yellow for Lightning damage, orange for Holy damage, and cyan for Magic damage.
- See the Weapon Scaling page for what the scaling values mean.
