Unique Skill: Ordovis's Vortex is a Skill in Elden Ring. It is exclusive to the Ordovis's Greatsword.

Description[]

Channel the power of the crucible to spin the sword in midair, building momentum before slamming the blade down onto the ground. This skills can be charged to increase its power.

Effect[]

Whirls the blade with holy energy behind the user's back on their palm before slamming it down, causing 3 shockwaves. Charging increases damage.

Notes[]

Deals mostly Physical damage, with some additional Holy damage.
Deals 30 Stance damage, slightly less than a fully charge heavy attack.
Damage scales mostly with upgrade level, then a bit with the weapon's Attribute scaling.

Trivia[]

Patch 1.07 added Poise when using this skill, and increased its damage, speed, and stagger potential.
