User leaps into the air and then throws out a projectile with 145 base Holy Attack Power that also launches foes backward.
Notes[]
- Attack Power scales with weapon upgrade level and user Faith.
- Will always have at least 580 Attack Power at +10.
- At +10 and with minimum weapon requirement stats, 15 Faith, it has 756 Attack Power, at 45 Faith it has 1010 Attack Power, at 60 Faith the beam has 1079 Attack Power, and at 80 Faith it has 1138 Attack Power.
- Will always have at least 580 Attack Power at +10.
- Grants heavy hyperarmor when mid-air, effectively making the skill almost impossible to interrupt after leaping up.
- Generally outclassed by the Black Knife's Blade of Death skill. While this one is fairly strong against weaker enemies (and even some of the heavier ones such as Omens) due to the high damage and ability to throw them away, it doesn't do as well against Bosses due to them steadily gaining more and more Holy damage negation from the point where this skill's weapon is acquired and the Blade of Death's percentage-based damage will gold up better against the ever increasing HP totals of later bosses.
- The reason this skill deals more damage before the percentage-based damage even though Blade of Death has higher base damage is because the Blade of Calling's higher base Faith scaling results in a stronger multiplier for the damage.

- The cost of the skill was reduced from 20 FP to 17 FP at an unknown point as an unlisted change.
