The Undertaker is a character in Elden Ring Nightreign, one of the two playable Nightfarer classes included in the Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows DLC.
Description[]
An abbess who was mandated by her monastery to slay the Nightlord. Her uncanny strength belies her physique, leading others to keep her at a distance and eventually assign her to the unenviable task of burying the dead.
Boasting impressive strength and faith, she is an unassuming gatekeeper to the afterlife who annihilates enemies with ruthless efficiency.

Abilities[]
Passive Ability[]
- Confluence — "Ally's execution of art enables additional art activation regardless of gauge."
The Ultimate Art Gauge fills and glows purple for 5 seconds after an ally activates their Ultimate Art. The Undertaker can activate her Ultimate Art during this window, even if her Gauge was previously empty.
Character Skill[]
- Trance — "Bloodletting triggers the power of the loathsome hex" (Cooldown duration: 14 seconds)
Trance has no startup animation and can be activated at any time, even during an animation. Upon activation, Trance instantly applies a self-buff that lasts for eight (8) seconds with the following effects:
- Fully replenishes
Stamina - +35% to all Damage Negation stats
- +10% Attack Power
- Successive Attacks increase Attack Power by +10% for the remaining duration of the ability (required number of hits varies with Weapon Class).
- Increased Poise
- Sprint faster and at no Stamina cost
- Quick Dodge — Undertaker can act faster after dodging, but her invincibility during each dodge is reduced. At 30 FPS, her dodge animations have two fewer invincibility and recovery frames when the ability is activated.
Empowered Trance: If the Ultimate Art Gauge is full, Undertaker can fully consume it to empower Trance by holding down the Character Skill input or by pressing both L2 and R2 while holding Triangle (L1+R1+Y on Xbox). Empowered Trance adds the following effects:
- Extends duration from 8 to 15 seconds
- Attack Power significantly increased
- Automatically Dodge
The skill icon drains to indicate the remaining time for Trance. The 14-second cooldown begins when it ends. Reactivating Trance ends the effect early, reducing the effective cooldown duration.
Ultimate Art[]
- Loathsome Hex — "Pull out uncanny bone from body, speed toward target, and strike."
The Undertaker pulls a long spine from her mouth and surges toward her target, dealing damage to anything in her way. This ability allows her to reach her target from great distances quickly and can be activated even mid-air.
The damage dealt by Loathsome Hex scales with player level:
