Helpful hints and reminders about core gameplay features and mechanics are acquired like items. The vignettes are stored in the player inventory, where they may be reviewed at any time.
The in-game loading screens provide supplementary information or remind players of other tutorials.
It is recommended that players jump into the Cave of Knowledge at the beginning of the game if they want to learn the very basics of the game's combat.
