Tools

Tools are special items in Elden Ring that can provide a number of enhancements or protection. Tools is the Inventory category that contains critical gameplay items like the player's Crimson and Cerulean Flasks, consumables like boluses and cured meats, throwing pots, perfume arts, greases, golden runes and even multiplayer items. Many of its items are usable at almost any time.

Golden Runes

Golden Runes, when used, give a certain amount of runes based on the type being used. As there's no restrictions in regards to weight (only a carry/store limit) it's best to keep them in this form until ready to level up or buy something as these can't be lost on death.
