Thiollier is an NPC merchant in Shadow of the Erdtree.
Overview[]
This isolated young man once met St. Trina[1] and, just once, Thiollier was granted the sweet repose of velvety sleep. The remainder of his days would be spent attempting to recapture it.[2]
He seems to be a very adept poison expert, and he is in search of the means to create a unique elixir. He sees himself as utterly weak and useless, apart from his skills in the realm of mixing poisons.[1]
Can be found by himself, quite some distance from his compatriots, at the Pillar Path Cross Site of Grace on the northeastern border of the Gravesite Plain.[1]
The Tarnished (Protagonist) can help Thiollier to create the condensed, somniferous elixir, purported to be capable of putting even an ancient dragon to sleep, although fatal for any mortal.[3]
Should his questline be completed, Thiollier is able to see St. Trina once more.
Thiollier can be summoned as a cooperator against Putrescent Knight, Miquella's Followers, and Promised Consort Radahn.
Appearance[]
He wears a mask upon which is carved a tranquil sleeping face. The silver hair is arranged in the same style as St. Trina's, increasing arcane. [4] Additionally, countless needles are sewn onto the exterior, apparently for talismanic effect.[5]

Questline Progression[]
WARNING: Coming too close to the entrance of the Shadow Keep will lock you out of the first step of his quest and you will miss the Spirit Ash of Ancient Dragon Florissax.
- Gravesite Plain
- Speak with Moore outside Belurat, Tower Settlement.
- Find and speak with Thiollier at the
Pillar Path Cross Site of Grace. - Speak with Moore again and he will give you Black Syrup for Thiollier.
- Find Thiollier again and he will give you Thiollier's Concoction.
- After all this is done, approach the Shadow Keep and you will get an ominous message on the screen. Find Thiollier once more and after exhausting his dialogue, reload the area and he'll state he is heading south.
- Stone Coffin Fissure
- Make your way to the southernmost point of the Cerulean Coast where you'll find a pit. When facing south towards the pit, venture to the right side and there will be steps for you to enter the it. Follow the given path and you'll come across the Stone Coffin Fissure.
- Beat the Putrescent Knight, a boss found at the end of this Legacy Dungeon, and in the corner of the arena you'll find both the Garden of Deep Purple Site of Grace and Thiollier, in front of St. Trina.
- Exhaust Thiollier's Dialogue and then reset the area using the nearby Grace. Return and Thiollier will have new dialogue, exhaust it again and then imbibe St. Trina's nectar, repeating this step (6 times) until St. Trina speaks to you.
- Once that is complete, pass on St. Trina's words to Thiollier, who will be reluctant to believe these words, and choose to try passing on St. Trina's words again and exhaust his dialogue.
- After this, return to the Grace. Here you will immediately be invaded by Thiollier, so defeat him and enter St. Trina's garden. Speak to Thiollier, then imbibe St. Trina's nectar again until she speaks. Here you can tell Thiollier of what she has said and exhaust his dialogue.
- Enir-Ilim
- Thiollier will now be available to summon for the 2 final fights of the Shadow of The Erdtree's Story where his quest finishes.
