The Stone Coffin Fissure (石棺の大穴, Sekkan no Ooana ) is a legacy dungeon located within the Realm of Shadow in Shadow of the Erdtree
Overview [ ] Stone Coffin Fissure is a vast chasm beneath the Southern Shore , filled with countless stone coffins and enemies that inflict Sleep ailment buildup. This dungeon is linear and its primary boss is the Putrescent Knight .
The dungeon's entrance is a gaping pit on a peninsula along the Cerulean Coast , at the southernmost tip of the Realm of Shadow. The The Fissure site of grace lies just below the surface, outside the dungeon. Initially, a Haligtree seal blocks access, breaking only when Miquella discards his Great Rune .[ 1] the Tarnished approaches the Shadow Keep or crosses the bridge east of Bonny Village heading north.

The Stone Coffin Fissure accumulated many stone coffins over the ages. In ancient times, ghostflame cleansed the impure lives within these vessels,[ 2] Putrescence .[ 3]
After the Shattering , the Empyrean Miquella embarked on a self-sacrificial pilgrimage to the Land of Shadow to attone for the sins of his mother, Queen Marika the Eternal . Before his ascension to godhood , Miquella attempted to rid himself of his curse of nascency by casting off his other self, St. Trina , into the chasm.[ 4] Age of Compassion .[ 5] [ 6]
At the bottom of the fissure,[ 7] Garden of Deep Purple , where Deep-Purple Lilies and Nectarblood Burgeon began to bloom.[ 8] [ 9] [ 10] [ 11]
