Jump up high into the air and crash down on the ground ahead. The resulting pratfall sends a powerful shockwave in all directions.

Acquisition[]

Can be granted to infusable melee weapons of any type with the Ash of War: Ground Slam.

Effect[]

Slightly crouches down before jumping up into the air and then lands to with base 264 Strike Attack Power on a direct hit and cause shockwave for another 175 base Standard Attack Power.

Notes[]

  • Costs 40 points of Stamina to perform.
  • As a bullet-type skill the Attack Power scales with the weapon's upgrade level and the user's Strength.
    • Strength-scaling is greatly increased if the weapon has a Heavy affinity, slightly increased if it has a Fire affinity, and somewhat increased on a Quality, Cold, Poison, or Blood affinity, and greatly decreased if the weapon has a Keen, Lightning, Magic, or Occult affinity.
    • Attack Power is always at least 1056 for a direct hit and 700 for the shockwave for a weapon at maximum upgrade level.
      • A Quality, Cold, Poison, or Blood affinity and 45 Strength gives the direct hit 1291 Attack Power and the shockwave 856 Attack Power, while a Fire affinity and either 45 or 80 Strength gives respectively the direct hit either 1316 Attack Power or 1430 Attack Power and the shockwave either 872 Attack Power or 948 Attack Power, and a Heavy affinity and either 45 or 80 Strength gives respectively the direct hit either 1403 Attack Power or 1555 Attack Power and the shockwave either 930 Attack Power or 1031 Attack Power.
  • User gains hyperarmor when in mid-air, making it very difficult to knock them out of the skill.
    • Do note that it doesn't grant any invincibility frames, unlike a jump (which grants those from the waist down), meaning that if an attack isn't completely and physically avoided damage may still be taken more often than normal.
  • Deals surprisingly heavy Stance damage, 15 on the landing hit and 30 on the following shockwave. For comparison, a Great Hammer's charged heavy attack deals 40 Stance damage and a hammer-type Colossal Weapon's charged heavy attack deals 42 Stance damage.
  • Will flatten human-sized enemies if they are hit directly.


Trivia[]

  • Patch 1.07 reduced the time between using the skill and being able to roll, increased attack power.
    • Base Attack Power for the direct hit was increased from 240 to 264 and base Attack Power for the shockwave was increased from 160 to 175.
