Acquisition[]
Purchase: Limgrave / Liurnia of the Lakes / Academy of Raya Lucaria / Roundtable Hold
- Sold for 3,000 Runes by Sorceress Sellen in any of her locations other than Witchbane Ruins.
- Should Sellen die before purchasing this Sorcery from her, then the player can still purchase it from the Twin Maiden Husks for the same price, after giving them Sellen's Bell Bearing.
Effect[]
POWER: 75% SS
DURATION: 90 seconds.
An exceptional spell for a fighter-mage hybrid character; it adds raw Magic damage to your equipped melee weapon. The Power ratio is the damage added to every base strike. This added damage is also completely independent to how high or low the base damage of the original weapon is, so a strong boost to a normally weak-but-fast weapon could have quite a significant DPS effect.
Note that this spell explicitly forces an orientation on which hand holds what equipment. The melee weapon must be held in the right hand, the staff in the left, for this to be able to fire. It also cannot be used on another staff, Fist, or a bow/crossbow.
Also note, 2-handing the weapon after enchanting it does not appear to add the 50% damage multiplication to the magical part of the damage, only the base physical damage is affected.
NOTE, this cannot be cast on a weapon that already has a bonus elemental damage effect either naturally or through an Ashes of War.
