Rotmounds, also known as Writhing Rotmounds, Slimes, or Living Masses, are enemies in Elden Ring and Shadow of the Erdtree.

Overview[]

Rotmounds are animated mounds of waste that take different properties depending on their surrounding environment. Nonetheless, they usually have the very same attack patterns.

Variants[]

Bloody Rotmound[]

A bloody variant which is characteristically huge compared to the others. Still shares the same moveset as the smaller counterparts.

Skeletal Slime[]

Skeletal Slimes appear as large blobs with bone-like spines randomly protruding from them. While they move slowly, they have high resistance and can become a problem in groups.
