Resin secreted from the roots of the Greattree. Can also be found near trees on the surface. Material used in crafting items.

The roots of the Greattree were once linked to those of the Erdtree, or so they say, and it is for this reason catacombs are built around Greattree roots.

Acquisition

• Can easily be farmed from the Warmaster's Shack site of grace; there are three Root Resin spawns beneath a tree directly next to the grace.
• Can be purchased in unlimited quantity from the Twin Maiden Husks after giving them the Greasemonger's Bell Bearing.

Trivia

• In the Japanese version of Elden Ring, the item description refers to "great" or "large tree roots" (大樹根, taijune) once linked to the Erdtree, not its roots directly. There is no indication that "Greattree" is intended to be a single word or a proper noun.
