Spirit ash of those who came before, infused with potent spirituality. Acquired from the corpses of hornsent and other objects that ritually decorate townships and villages across the Realm of Shadow.

Consume these at Sites of Grace to bolster your Revered Spirit Ash Blessing.

The Revered Spirit Ash Blessing enhances the abilities of summoned spirits and spectral steeds to deal and negate damage but has no influence outside the realm of shadow.

The withered corpses were called tutelary deities, and Revered Spirit Ash was said to quietly accumulate in the palms of their hands.

Effects

Revered Spirit Ash are used at Sites of Grace to increase the Revered Spirit Ash Blessing level. The Blessing reduces the damage taken by Torrent while mounted and by summoned Spirit Ashes, while also increasing the damage dealt by Spirit Ashes. However, this effect is only active while within the Realm of Shadow.

Collecting all available ashes and reaching Blessing level 10 results in:

• 89% spell damage increase for Spirit Ashes.
• 75% spell damage increase for Spirit Ashes.
• 42.5% damage reduction for Spirit Ashes and Torrent.

The Ash collects in their hands

A total of 25 Revered Spirit Ashes are found throughout the Realm of Shadow:

1. Gravesite Plain: On a small altar northeast of the Gravesite Plain site of grace, past the white tree filled with hanging bodies.
2. Gravesite Plain: Found at an altar located to the east of the Cliffroad Terminus site of grace, near a pond inhabited by turtles.
3. Abandoned Ailing Village: Revered Spirit Ash can be looted from an altar surrounded by Man-Flies.
4. Temple Town Ruins: South of the Temple Town Ruins, near the edge, you will see the altar.
5. Belurat, Tower Settlement: x2 Revered Spirit Ash can be found on the altar in a room infested by Spider-Scorpions.
6. Belurat, Tower Settlement: After defeating the Divine Beast Dancing Lion, take the lift and proceed to open a large door; the altar is nearby.
7. Belurat, Tower Settlement: Climb up after defeating the two Gravebirds, and spot a Shadow Pothead that drops x1 Revered Spirit Ash and x1 Golden Horn Tender.
8. Belurat, Tower Settlement: After crossing the bridge with the Horned Warrior, turn left to find an altar with Revered Spirit Ash across from the central tree.
9. Bonny Village: Fall from the broken bridge and follow the path north past the Stray to find the statue with Revered Spirit Ash at the end of the road.
10. Moorth Ruins: East of the ruins, find a small shack containing the Revered Spirit Ash.
11. Village of Flies: Found on a body laid on a pedestal upon entering the Village of Flies.
12. Ancient Ruins of Rauh, West: Dropped by the Shadow Pothead in the area, along with x1 Silver Horn Tender, x1 Dewgem, and x1 Rauh Burrow.
13. Ancient Ruins of Rauh (West): Found on the statue in the center of the area. Beware of enemies nearby.
14. Enir-Ilim: Outside the First Rise site of grace, take the stairs and cross the bridge to defeat a Large Inquisitor for a Revered Spirit Ash.
15. Enir-Ilim: x2 Revered Spirit Ash is located at the base of the statue in an indoor altar-like room with Man-Flies praying to an idol.
16. Enir-Ilim: Found in a small room on an altar; be cautious of Gravebird enemies in the area.
17. Ruins of Unte: Found on the altar near the stone wall southeast of the Ruins of Unte.
18. Ellac River Cave: Found on an altar near the Ellac River Cave site of grace.
19. Midra's Manse: In the library, jump across bookshelves to reach a Large Inquisitor; defeat it for a Revered Spirit Ash.
20. Midra's Manse: Found on a body hanging from a chandelier near the Midra's Manse site of grace.
21. Shadow Keep: Climb the statue’s feet and drop carefully onto the beast statue below to find the Revered Spirit Ash.
22. Shadow Keep: From the Seventh Floor site of grace, jump onto the railings on the left to find this item on a hanging statue.
23. Ancient Ruins of Rauh (East): Dropped by a Shadow Pothead west of the Viaduct Minor Tower site of grace.

Notes

• The Revered Spirit Ash Blessing affects both Ashes and Renowned Ashes.
• The Mimic Tear Ashes does not receive the full benefits of the Blessing for balancing reasons.
