Reduvia is a dagger in Elden Ring.
Description[]
Jagged dagger with a distinctive curved blade. Used by the noble servants of the Lord of Blood.
This dagger rips the flesh as it enters, inflicting blood loss with sickening efficacy. A proud testament to the success of its vicious design, this weapon is perpetually coated in blood.
Unique Skill: Reduvia Blood Blade
Slash with the wicked dagger, transforming its never-drying bloodstains into airborne blood blades that cause hemorrhaging. Can be fired in rapid succession.
Acquisition[]
- Dropped by Bloody Finger Nerijus near Murkwater Cave once defeated.
- Beware that progressing through the game can prevent this invasion from happening, more specifically by defeating all the major Limgrave bosses (Flying Dragon Agheel, Mad Pumpkin Head, Margit, the Fell Omen, Tibia Mariner, and Tree Sentinel).
Notes[]
- Its skill, Reduvia Blood Blade, is essentially a version of the Blood Blade skill that costs twice as much FP and deals a little less Stance damage in exchange for not costing any HP to cast and having 50% more base Blood Loss (90 instead of 60).
- Since this skill hits with both the projectile and the blade, it deals much more damage and inflicts more Blood Loss build-up when used within the dagger's range.
- Ultimately, Blood Blade will do about 4% more damage at half cost with equivalent Arcane and an Occult affinity, making it the stronger alternative if the user is willing to stomach the self-damage and the relatively lower Blood Loss isn't a problem.
- Not counting the Wakizashi this is the strongest dagger for a hybrid Dexterity/Arcane build and the second strongest dagger for a hybrid Strength/Arcane or pure Arcane build, after the Bloodstained Dagger.
- However, the Bloodstained's advantage is rather slight, only 8 AP (Attack Power) for the Str/Arc build and a mere 1 AP for the pure Arc build and the Reduvia will consistently have 10 more points of Blood Loss build-up.
- Since this weapon has innate Arcane-scaling its innate Blood Loss will scales with that stat.
- The Bandit starting Origin has enough stats to wield this quite strong weapon without any level ups or stat increases.
Upgrade Information[]
- Upgraded with Somber Smithing Stones.
- Cannot have its Affinity and Skill changed.
- The upper number in the Atk column denotes Physical base damage while the lower, colored number in the Atk column denotes elemental base damage: red for Fire damage, yellow for Lightning damage, orange for Holy damage, and cyan for Magic damage.
- See the Weapon Scaling page for what the scaling values mean.
