Trivia[]

  • Due to unused files of Dark Souls III and images from early builds, it's believed the Ulcerated Tree Spirit was originally going to be a lategame boss from that game. Its AI package files label it as "SnakeSoul", sharing the same filenames with the cut boss. Its appearance also shares close similarities with the Pus of Man, a powerful snake-like Abyssal enemy found in some areas.
