Omen (Enemy) is an enemy in Elden Ring.

Overview[]

The Omen are accursed beings, distinguished by the advancement of their curse. Excised Omen have had their horns brutally cut, a process that not many of their babies survive.[1] They do not harbor wraiths within, and thus must rely on more conventional combat techniques. Weak Accursed Omen, born of royalty, possess some horn growth but are forced to live underground in secrecy.[2] They harbor some amount of wraiths, which they can expel from their mouths at foes. Most dangerous are the Strong Accursed Omen, who are capable of unleashing a barrage of wraiths in a fiery explosion, consequently imbuing their weapons with their power. In this imbued state, they can slam their weapons down to make them explode and release more wraiths.

Omen wielding a heavy-bladed curved sword, etched with with a pattern that is the remnant of a deteriorating malediction.[3] The swords have a deceptively long reach, which the Omen take full advantage of with their fighting style.

A hooded Omen with an Omen Cleaver can be found praying in front of a Minor Erdtree in Altus Plateau alongside human Death-prince Followers. Another can also be found in Altus, hidden in the depths of Auriza Hero's Grave. Though their horns may be excised, they are able to summon Fia's Mist.

Omen twins guarding the bridge leading to the Divine Tower of East Altus. Upon approach to the Divine Tower, a black fog will descend upon the bridge. The lone Leyndell Soldier guarding the bridge will be found dead at the foot of the player. In the distance, stand the twins waiting for the player to approach them. One has its horns excised, and wields an axe coated in bloodflame. The other is strongly accursed, and wields a cleaver it can coat in wraiths.
