Bosses are powerful enemies that can be encountered in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Overview[]
Boss encounters in Limveld are randomized at the start of each Expedition. Minor bosses roam the region during the day, while a powerful boss appears at the end of each night. Surviving two in-game nights leads to a climactic battle against one of eight final Nightlord bosses.
Nightlords[]
- Main article: Nightlords
Nightlords are fought on the third night. Unlike other encounters, the final boss is not randomized; instead, they are selected between rounds by interacting with the Table of Lost Grace at the Roundtable Hold.[1][2][3]

- Nightlord Weaknesses
Each Nightlord has a scripted weakness to a particular source of damage. For example, dealing even a small amount of Lightning damage to Maris, Fathom of Night as it channels its global Sleep spell is enough to break its stance and cancel the attack. The damage negation and status resistances for each Nightlord boss are listed in the table below. A positive value indicates reduced negation (more damage taken), while a negative value indicates increased damage negation (less damage taken). For Resistances, lower values indicate a vulnerability (faster buildup), while higher values require more buildup to inflict the Status Ailment. The 🛇 symbol denotes full immunity. These weaknesses still apply if the boss is fought on Day 1 or Day 2.
- Damage Types — A positive value (+) indicates bonus damage.
- Resistances — A lower value indicates faster procs.

Notes[]
- Bosses are promoted or simply get stronger on day two.
- Bosses do not regenerate health over time or between days.
- Defeating a boss creates a Site of Grace and a purple Dormant Power. Interacting with the object opens a menu with three reward choices. Nightfarers may obtain boss loot even if they were too far away to earn runes. The object will not vanish or expire between days.
- They can drop Armaments, Smithing Stones, or a passive boon that is bound to the character for the remainder of the Expedition.
- Evergaols contain bosses, but must be unlocked with a Stonesword Key.
- Version 1.01: the Runebear duo boss is currently bugged on PC. Only one bear has the boss HP bar but both bears drop boss loot.[verified]
