The Night's Tide (夜の雨, Yoru no Ame; lit. "Night's Rain"), also known as the Ring of Reign, is a gameplay mechanic in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Overview[]
The Night's Tide is a wall of blue flames that threatens to envelope Limveld and its Roundtable Hold. It progressively shrinks as the day progresses, turning the land violet in a downpour of rain. Standing within the rain periodically damages the Nightfarers. The rain does not disable Sites of Grace, destroy items, or damage enemies. As Night falls, the ring is confined to a small area where the Nightfarers must defeat a boss and its minions to survive.
The ring recedes to its original position at the break of dawn.
It is possible to venture into the rain after the second night, but doing so is risky. The damage over time increases dramatically after exactly 100 seconds are spent outside the circle.
