Murk () is a currency in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Description[]
Overview[]
Murk is a permanent currency that persists between Expeditions. It is traded to the Small Jar Bazaar in exchange for Relics, Chalices, and Emotes. It is also used to unlock Garb at the Dresser.
The Nightfarers earn Murk by completing—or failing—Expeditions. Unwanted Relics can be sold for Murk to Small Jar through the Relic Rites station at the Roundtable Hold. In addition, extra Murk can be found by inspecting the battle records of other players.
Notes[]
- Murk is not lost on death and does not expire over time.
- When a player dies in Limveld, enhanced versions of their gear are placed in the worlds of other players. Those other players obtain these items by interacting with a kneeling red phantom placed in the spot where that player died. If one of those players finds your character's red phantom and defeats a Nightlord using your gear, then their record appears at the Roundtable Hold in your world. Inspecting this record yields 1,000 Murk.
- Wise players who die frequently always check the records for extra Murk.
- Several items unlocked with Murk can also be purchased with Sovereign Sigils.
- Defeating Nightlords nets roughly 2,000 Murk on successive victories.
