Moonlight Altar

Moonlight Altar is a sub-region located in Liurnia of the Lakes. It can only be accessed after considerably advancing Ranni's questline.

Overview[]

A plateau on the east side of Liurnia, accessible only by passing through Ainsel River and the Lake of Rot and defeating Astel, Naturalborn of the Void. The lift which leads to the Moonlight Altar is sealed, and can only be accessed by obtaining the Dark Moon Ring from the treasure chest in Rennala's library in the Academy of Raya Lucaria.

The plateau, which sits above the Village of the Albinaurics, is the site of the Cathedral of Manus Celes, a large, ruined church. An Evergaol, housing the ringleader of the Black Knife Assassins, can also be found here.
