Miquellan Knight's Sword is a melee armament in Elden Ring.

Description[]

Sword forged by the servants of Miquella of the Haligtree, with a design modeled after those carried by Carian Knights. Instead of glinstone however, amber of the Haligtree is embedded in the blade.

A sumptuous piece, yet it has never been offered to any knight - an ill-starred sword with no master.

Acquisition[]

Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree, near the Prayer Room Site of Grace.

After exiting the Grace in it to continue forward there will be a parapet on the right that leads to a tower with a ladder on the other side. Climbing that ladder leads to the sword's location.

Notes[]

  • While the skill, Sacred Blade, is excellent, at this point of the game most bosses and tough enemies are resistant to Holy damage, and most tough Those Who Live in Death will have been defeated, making it far less useful than the much earlier acquisition of Ash of War: Sacred Blade is.
  • Has a unique heavy attack that causes the user to step forward. This attack has good forward reach, and since the first attack in the charged version makes a short dash forward it's useful to catch opponents out of their roll and for landing the Stance-breaking charged heavy attack while not having to stand too close to enemies.
  • This weapon gains the most Attack Power (AP) from a hybrid Strength/Dexterity build, as the Faith-scaling is mostly useful for increasing the damage of the Skill.
    • For comparison (unmentioned stats are at the minimum required level): 45 Strength and 45 Dexterity grants 605 AP, 80 Strength or Dexterity grants 581 AP, 45 Strength (or Dexterity) and 45 Faith grants 566 AP, and 80 Faith grants 516 AP.
    • In other words, 45 Strength and 45 Dexterity is best if looking to maximize AP while 45 Strength and 45 Faith (Strength is slightly preferable over Dexterity due to the bonus from two-handing) is better for a mix of attack damage and skill damage.
  • Pairs surprisingly well with the Golden Epitaph, another Holy sword that scales similarly well on a hybrid Strength/Dexterity or Strength/Faith build.

Upgrade Information[]
