Lord's Aid is an incantation spell in Elden Ring. It is one of the Two Fingers incantations.
Description[]
Incantation bestowed by the Two Fingers upon the Tarnished deemed worthy of becoming a lord.
Alleviates buildup of poison, blood loss, and sleep for the caster and nearby allies. Additionally, cures poison.
Hold to continue praying and delay activation.
Acquisition[]
Purchase: Roundtable Hold / Liurnia of the Lakes / Altus Plateau / Leyndell, Royal Capital / Mountaintops of the Giants
- Lord's Aid is sold for 2,500 Runes by Brother Corhyn or Miriel, Pastor of Vows after giving either of them the Two Fingers' Prayerbook.
- Should the prayerbook be given to one of them and then that instructor die before purchasing this Incantation, the player can still purchase it from the Twin Maiden Husks for the same price, after giving them the respective tutor's Bell Bearing.
- WARNING: Should both Corhyn and Miriel die before giving either of them the prayerbook, then this incantation becomes unavailable for that character until a new Journey is started.
Effect[]
The caster kneels in prayer to remove Poison, Blood Loss, and Sleep and their buildup from themselves and nearby allies.
Notes[]
- Costs 9 FP per cast.
- Costs 10 Stamina per cast.
- Requires 1 Memory Slot to be equipped.
- The healing effect can be delayed indefinitely by holding the casting button, which is useful if an ally is not yet within range.
Strategies[]
- Lord's Aid is an effective utility spell for removing status effects during general gameplay.
- As the Status Effect removal niche is generally better covered by more specialized alternatives such as Flame, Cleanse Me or Bestial Constitution, this incantation instead serves much better as a way to cure some common Status Effects from partners in Co-Op, whether as a summoned Furled Finger or as a summoning Host of Fingers.
- Lord's Aid is preferable to Law of Regression for helping allies in PvE encounters, as the latter also removes positive Buffs.
- The caster crouches while casting this incantation, which may cause some attacks to miss due to the reduced height.
Trivia[]
- This is one of only two spells in the entire game that removes Status Effects from nearby allies. The other is Law of Regression, an incantation with a high Intelligence requirement.
