One can be easily reached just outside of the room with the Schoolhouse Classroom Site of Grace, just before the Red Wolf of Radagon in Academy of Raya Lucaria.
Notes[]
- The locked, innate skill, while not unique and reliant on its weaker Intelligence-scaling, is very strong for both the projectile bullet part and the weapon stab part.
- Gains the most Attack Power (AP) from a hybrid Strength/Intelligence build (600 AP from having 45 Strength, 9 Dexterity, and 45 Intelligence), a bit less from a pure Strength build (579 AP from 80 Strength, 9 Dexterity, and 13 Intelligence), and even less from a pure Intelligence build (561 AP from 8 Strength, 12 Dexterity, and 80 Intelligence).
- Note that since the projectile part of the skill is a bullet-type it scales with associated stat, in this case Intelligence, meaning that the pure Intelligence build will deal the most damage with that part of the skill, and that the pure Strength build will most likely end up dealing somewhat less damage overall with the skill.
- Has a unique blocking heavy attack, shared with the Carian Knight's Sword. While this can make attacking into an attacking foe a bit less punishing, the resulting Stamina damage that will be taken if hit can prevent the user from attacking or rolling away.
- While the brief hit-stun taken by shields isn't suffered when hit, the low Stability means that using the unique heavy attack is highly likely to result in a stun from being guardbroken.
- Stability can be increased by 10% via two-handing and then further by the Greatshield Talisman.
- While the uncharged unique heavy attack deals the same amount of Stance damage as a normal uncharged heavy attack, but the charged version only deals 1.5 times more Stance damage, instead of the regular charged version which deals 3 times more Stance damage.
Upgrade Information[]
- Upgraded with Somber Smithing Stones.
- Cannot have its Affinity and Skill changed.
- The upper number in the Atk column denotes Physical base damage while the lower, colored number in the Atk column denotes elemental base damage: red for Fire damage, yellow for Lightning damage, orange for Holy damage, and cyan for Magic damage.
- See the Weapon Scaling page for what the scaling values mean.
