Hinterland is an Site of Grace located within the Realm of Shadow in Shadow of the Erdtree. This area of the map is revealed by Map: Scadu Altus.

Overview

The Hinterland is a lush and fertile eastern section of the Scaduview. Multicolored flowers grow in abundance here, untouched by Messmerfire. The deserted Shaman Village found here was once the home of Queen Marika the Eternal.

This secret area is accessible after solving the puzzle at the Shadow Keep, Back Gate. Obtain the O Mother gesture from the headless statue north of the Bonny Village and perform it in front of the statue of Marika.
