Highland Axe is a melee armament found in Elden Ring.
Description[]
Acquisition[]
Found in Stormveil Castle under a painting inside the room with a roaming Grafted Scion across from the elevator shortcut up the the Rampart Tower Site of Grace.
Notes[]
- Boosts the strength of roar attacks (such as the enhanced heavy attacks of Barbaric Roar, or the projectile from Beast's Roar) by 10%. Do note that while this effect is very similar to the boost granted by the Roar Medallion, unlike that Talisman this Axe does not boost the damage of the breath and roar Incantations such as those found among the Dragon Communion Incantations.
- Similar to how the damage boosts to spells from certain casting implements work, the Highland Axe only grants this boost while held in one of the active hands (left or right, the currently "shown" equipment). The other active piece of equipment can still be two-handed, as the other hand slot will still count as active in the meantime (so having a Highland Axe in the active left hand slot while two-handing a Greatsword in the right hand slot will still grant a damage boost to the Greatsword's War Cry skill.
- Unlike many other such boosts, wielding two Highland Axes will not stack the boost and it will instead remain at 10%.
Upgrading[]
- Upgraded with regular Smithing Stones.
