The Guardians, also known as Tree Guardians, are enemies in Elden Ring.
Background[]
The masked guardians entered an ancient death pact with the Erdtree to be renewed with eternal life.[1] Armed with swordspears whittled from the hard wood of old trees, they were dextrous, expert protectors of Minor Erdtrees and the Erdtree itself at Leyndell, Royal Capital.[2] Budding branches grew from their backs, ready to release perfume and poisonous pollen. The blooming of their blood-red flowers was said to signal the impending end of their tenure, and the beginning of their transformation into trees.[3]
Variants[]
There are three variants: Guardians, Putrid Guardians, Full Bloom Guardians.
