Greyoll's Roar is an incantation spell in Elden Ring. It is one of the Dragon Communion Incantations.
Description[]
Superior incantation of Dragon Communion. Channels the power of Greyoll, the Elder Dragon. An incantation of legendary status.
Transforms caster into a dragon to emit a terrible roar, reducing the attack power and defense of nearby enemies.
Greyoll was the mother of all dragons, dwarfing all who stood before her like a looming mountain.

Dragon Communion: Caelid
- Acquired from the altar at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion in Caelid for 3 Dragon Hearts after felling Elder Dragon Greyoll.
Effects[]
Forms the roaring skull of Greyoll upon casting, inflicting Physical damage and knockback to nearby enemies while also reducing the defense and attack of all hit by 10% and 15% respectively.
Notes[]
- Deals Physical damage.
- Damage can be boosted by 10% by the Roar Medallion and by 15% per Dragon Communion Seal held in an active hand (up to 2).
- The debuff inflicted does not stack with any other defense or attack debuff, with the exception of Frostbite. This includes the two moon sorceries Rennala's Full Moon and Ranni's Dark Moon, the Shriek of Milos of the Sword of Milos, Acid Spraymist, and the Soul Stifler skill of the Winged Greathorn.
- Knocks down human-sized foes.
- Deals 17 Stance damage, about on par with an uncharged heavy attack from Great Hammers.
Trivia[]
- Prior to Patch 1.02, Greyoll's name was spelled as Grayoll in the description.
- Patch 1.04 decreased FP cost from 85 to 62, and Patch 1.07 further decreased it from 62 to 50.
- Patch 1.04 also decreased the Stamina cost and recovery time by an unknown amount.
