Greatswords are a type of melee armament in Elden Ring. They boast high damage and reach at a minor cost of attack speed and mobility.

With most of the one-handed regular attacks consisting of wide horizontal swings that cover a decent area in front of oneself, and the two-handed regular attacks being mostly vertical, having Hyper Armor and dealing decent amounts of Poise Damage.
