Graven Mass is an enemy in Elden Ring.
Overview[]
Large orbs comprised of many Glintstone Crowns merged together. They are the seeds of stars, fashioned by scholars who cleave to the forbidden teachings of the primeval current, and their existence is thought to be a nightmare of the Academy of Raya Lucaria.[1]
Graven Masses can attack by releasing purple mist that deals magic damage, or by firing magic into the air, which then rains down on foes.

- Sorceress Sellen's sobriquet, the "Graven Witch"[2][3], implies that she may have been one of the sorcerers responsible for the creation of Graven Masses. Sellen also becomes a Graven Mass at the end of her questline, provided the player sides with her against Castellan Jerren and reports the locations of Primeval Sorcerer Azur and Primeval Sorcerer Lusat.
- Graven Masses are comprised of Olivinus Glintstone Crowns and Lazuli Glintstone Crowns. Sellen's Graven Mass also has a Witch's Glintstone Crown.
- An inanimate Graven Mass can be found in a small room adjoining the Church of the Cuckoo in the Academy of Raya Lucaria, surrounded by crystals. Floating particles resembling a starry sky can be seen around it. Azur's Glintstone Staff can be picked up just in front of it. Another can be found in Albinauric's Rise in the Consecrated Snowfield, from which the Graven-Mass Talisman can be obtained.
