A flying insect and living shears that trail the earth. Those lucky enough to escape the former's rain of magic light fall victim to the shears. If moth poison is ingested, it will eat through the host—a parasite that cannot be removed alone. |

The Sentient Pest, including Animus, Ascendant Light, Gnoster, Wisdom of Night, and Faurtis Stoneshield, is a Nightlord boss in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Gnoster, Wisdom of Night is the current Everdark Sovereign.
Background[]
Overview[]
This Nightlord is two giant insects fought on the final Night of the Sentient Pest Expedition. The hardy scorpion shakes the earth when it stomps, and the white moth casts Magic and Poison spells. The sandy desert arena is covered in viridian leaves during the second phase, when the pests fight together as one. During the Everdark Sovereign version of the encounter, the bosses are revived after death by Animus, Ascendant Light, a red spectral moth.
If the moth grabs a player, it infects them with a parasite. If left unchecked, it develops into a worm that deals continuous damage. Allies can destroy both the worm and its larval form by attacking the infected player.
