Forge of the Giants is a location in Elden Ring.
Overview[]
Long ago, Queen Marika the Eternal ordered Godfrey and his warriors to go to war against the Giants.[1] When the war ended, and the Fire Giants were defeated, the flame of ruin was confined within the cauldron-shaped forge at the easternmost peak of the Mountaintops of the Giants, with a sole Fire Giant left behind as its guardian.[2]
It is from here that the flame of ruin is unleashed, either by Melina or by the Tarnished, in order to burn the Erdtree. After doing so, the Tarnished is transported to Crumbling Farum Azula, where the Rune of Death is hidden.
Sites of Grace[]
Found on the eastern lip of the forge. If Melina has not left the player, the option to burn the Erdtree will be present. If not, the "Listen to the flames" option will be present. Both of these options will cause the Erdtree to burn, and will transport the player to Crumbling Farum Azula.
