Did you mean…?For the faction, seek Albinaurics.

Oh, stars. Oh, night. Oh...fate. Punish them all. Punish the world, entire. We speak to those who forsake us to this world that shuns our kind. Punish every living thing...Elder Albinauric

Elder Albinaurics (老いたしろがね人, Oita Shirogane Hito, Old Silver Men), also known as First-Generation Albinaurics, are enemies in Elden Ring.

Background[]

The bearded Elder Albinaurics were gaunt, lanky men born from a drop of silver dew, artificially created by human hands. The immovable first generation Albinaurics had dysfunctional shins and could only crawl, their legs fading as death approached. When their legs vanished completely, so too did their lives.[1] To compensate for their immobility, many became glintstone sorcerers, casting spells using blue glintstone and their innate arcane power,[2] while others took to acting through puppets.[citation needed]

Due to the circumstances surrounding their occult origin, they were deemed impure and shunned by many inhabitants of the Lands Between. The Albinaurics were spurned from the Erdtree's grace, and suffered heavy persecution at the hands of the brutal Cuckoo Knights of Raya Lucaria.[3][4] After the Shattering, the agents of Sir Gideon Ofnir, the All-Knowing attacked the Village of the Albinaurics and massacred its residents in search of the Haligree Secret Medallion. And so, the Albinaurics of old pleaded to the stars, night, and fate for to punish the world that condemned them.[5]

Variants[]

Variant Description[]

An Albinauric villager living in the Village of the Albinaurics. They move by dragging themselves with their hands and attack by lunging at foes or shoving them back. Sometimes, they will feign death before ambushing their foes in groups.

Variant Description[]

An Albinauric sorcerer that uses their arcane nature and an Albinauric Staff to cast Glintstone Pebble. Albinauric sorcerers in Caria Manor and Volcano Manor can cast Magic Downpour.

Variant Description[]

A sickly Albinauric consumed by poison. They can be found in the swamp surrounding the Village of the Albinaurics, periodically coughing up poisonous mist.

Variant Description[]

An Albinauric prisoner locked in a pillory, at times suspended from the ceilings of Volcano Manor and Castle Sol to act the part of sentries. When an intruder approaches, they will scream to alert nearby allies. In Castle Sol, the screams of these sentries are capable of manifesting the spirits of Exile Soldiers and Banished Knights.

Variant Description[]

An Albinauric prisoner forced to wear a Black Dumpling. Driven to insanity, they will lunge and tear at their foe. They have a unique grab attack where they hold down the foe and rip their throat with their teeth.
