Errant Sorcerer Wilhelm is an NPC in Elden Ring.
Overview[]
A Tarnished sorcerer and scholar of the Academy of Raya Lucaria who engaged in nomadic study away from the Academy, donning the Hierodas Glintstone Crown.[1] Wilhelm was a silent seeker who at one time made contact with the primeval current, and became one of the first Tarnished to visit Roundtable Hold. He befriended Vargram the Raging Wolf, however confrontation let them into violence, and Wilhelm was imprisoned in Roundtable Hold.[2]
The Tarnished encounters Vargram and Wilhelm together in the Fortified Manor in Leyndell, Royal Capital, during a joint mission with Knight Bernahl on behalf of the Fortified Manor.

Questline Progression[]
- Mt. Gelmir (Volcano Manor)
- After joining the Volcano Manor and eliminating Old Knight Istvan and Rileigh the Idle under Tanith's request, talk to Recusant Bernahl in the eastern quarter of the manor to receive Letter to Bernhal, unlocking Wilhelm's invasion sign in Leyndell.
- Once Wilhelm and Vargram, the Raging Wolf are defeated, awarding you with the Raging Wolf Set, return to Bernhal to receive Gelmir's Fury.
