Erdtree Avatar is a non-respawnable enemy and field boss in Elden Ring.

Overview[]

Beings with bodies resembling hollow tree stumps. The avatars emerged in the wake of the shattering of the Elden Ring in order to protect the Minor Erdtrees.[1] They wield large staffs depicting the Erdtree, and are capable of utilising offensive incantations.

Variant Description[]

Erdtree Avatars commonly found protecting Minor Erdtrees throughout the Lands Between. They wield staffs depicting the Erdtree, and use golden incantations in combat. They often drop crystal tears when defeated.

Avatars festering with Scarlet Rot, typically found in lands permeated by rot. Much like the Erdtree Avatars, they wield staffs, although theirs are more reminiscent of the iconography seen in Elphael.

An Erdtree Avatar that guards the Minor Erdtree in the Mountaintops of the Giants. This Avatar has the unique ability to split itself into two different Avatars once it's health is below 70%, with both enemies sharing a health bar.
