Outline[]

High Priority[]

  • Items: make sure every item has a page.
  • Photography: Make sure every page that requires an image (locations, enemies, NPCs) has one.
  • Enemies: make sure every enemy has a page.
  • Locations: create pages for regions, sub-regions, and legacy dungeons. Make sure existing pages for these are complete.
  • Weapons/armor: make sure weapon and armor lists are comprehensive and well-ordered.
  • Lore: create pages for major lore topics and organise a compendium that links to relevant lore pages.
  • Meta: Create a meta tab on the top bar to hold cut content, CNT/v1.0 content, and external media such as interviews. This can replace the mechanics tab.

Low Priority[]

  • Create locations pages for landmarks and minor dungeons.
  • Attributes: remaster the stats page to include precise data used for attribute levels and damage calculations.
  • Magic: remaster the spells page to better filter through classes of spells.
  • Talismans: amend the talisman page.
  • Items: add sub-tabs to the items page to more intuitively find the desired item. Replace DLC with a manual table.
  • Armour set pages

NPCs[]

NPC pages should follow the Elden Ring Character Template. Each NPC should have english and japanese dialogue, quest steps, and (where applicable) shop inventories and character info. Additionally, the page names should reflect their full in-game titles.

Enemies[]

Enemy pages should follow the Elden Ring Enemy Template. This applies to standard enemies, dungeon/field bosses, and non-respawning enemies. If there are no variants for a particular enemy, the tabber can be removed and an enemy infobox can be added to the top of the page instead. Movesets are not required for standard enemies.

Please refer to the below list for enemy names:

Enemies

Locations[]

The main locations should follow the Elden Ring Area Template - Region

In addition, regions may contain sub-regions. These are open world locations that have sections on the Site of Grace menu in the game's map, within the larger region sections (e.g. Weeping Peninsula is a sub-region of Limgrave). Sub-regions should follow the Elden Ring Area Template - Sub-region.

Dungeons should follow Elden Ring Area Template - Dungeon.

Landmarks (churches, ruins, towers etc) should follow Elden Ring Area Template - Landmark.

Items[]

User:Lolazio has created this template for item descriptions, which allows us to include English and Japanese descriptions in separate tabs. English and Japanese item descriptions can be found in this sheet compiled by Rubedo, Odokuro, and Claude.

  • Ashes of War

  • Crafting Materials
  • Key Items
  • Talismans
  • Ammo
  • Remembrances

User:Obolset has created a spreadsheet which will quickly generate upgrade tables for each weapon, which you can find here. Use it to generate the source text for weapons quickly.

Lore[]

Lore pages can be events, concepts, characters and locations not seen or interacted with in-game, or anything else relevant to the game's lore. Lore pages can double as other types of pages if there is sufficient overlap between the lore and gameplay (i.e. Omen serves as both a page on the lore behind Omen as well as an enemy page).

Lore pages should also include a "relevant items" section (see Carian Royal Family for an example) to act as a glossary to help users find item descriptions pertinent to the subject of the page.
