Dragon Heart is a consumable item in Elden Ring.
Dragon hearts can be taken to the Church of Dragon Communion, the Cathedral of Dragon Communion, or the Grand Cathedral of Dragon Communion to be used as currency to gain access to certain spells here.

Uses[]
- A total of 20 Dragon Hearts are needed to buy all Dragon Communion Incantations in the base game.
- Only 3 Dragon Hearts can be spent at the Church of Dragon Communion in Limgrave. The remaining 17 to 20 Dragon Hearts (depending on how many were used to buy Incantations in Limgrave) have to be used at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion in Caelid.
Shadow of the Erdtree[]
- 3 Dragon Hearts are needed to buy the Ghostflame Breath incantation, the only new Dragon Communion Incantation gained this way at the Grand Cathedral of Dragon Communion.
