Dragon Cult Incantations

Dragon Cult incantations are a type of incantation in Elden Ring. These spells are characterized by their use of lightning and their association with the ancient dragons. They typically require a moderate to high Faith Attribute to cast.

The Gravel Stone Seal boosts the damage of these spells by 15% when held in an active hand (32.25% if one is held in each hand), not including Electrify Armament as it is a Weapon Buff spell.

Background[]

An enormous ancient dragon named Gransax once assaulted the Erdtree in ancient times.^[1] The knights of the Erdtree fortified themselves with lightning as they fought in what would later be known as the War of the Ancient Dragons.^[2]^[3]

The war ended when Godwyn the Golden defeated the ancient dragon Fortissax. The demigod was said to have befriended his fallen foe, and their bond eventually led to the formation of a ancient dragon cult within Leyndell, Royal Capital.^[4]^[5] The ancient dragons took the form of humans to teach them their lightning incantations.^[6] Only the highest-ranking members of the order knew of the dragon's red lightning.^[7]^[8]^[9]

Boosting Dragon Cult incantations[]

Lightning Scorpion Charm increases Lightning Attack Power by 12% (8% in PvP).
Lightning-Shrouding Cracked Tear increases Lightning Attack Power by 20% (15% in PvP) for 3 minutes.
Gravel Stone Seal increases Lightning Attack Power by 15% when held in an active hand, and by 32.5% when wielded in each hand.
- The Gravel Stone Seal bonus does not apply to Electrify Armament, as it applies a weapon Buff.
