Demi-human chief is a boss and an enemy in Elden Ring.
Background[]
- Main article: Demi-Humans
Demi-Humans are typically small in stature and bestial in appearance, often possessing fur, canine faces, and pointed ears. Although they are intelligent and capable of speech, as exemplified by Boc the Seamster, they are typically violent and brutish, particularly at night when their blood boils and they turn feral.[1]
Demi-Humans wield a variety of weapons, such as falchions, daggers, and clubs. Those considered to be the toughest wield spiked clubs, which they believe to be a badge of honor.[2]
Demi-Human society appears to be hierarchical, with the lesser Demi-Humans following much larger Demi-Human Chiefs. Demi-Humans lose hope if their leader dies[3], causing them to panic and stop attacking. At the top of the Demi-Human hierarchy are the Queens, who are capable of wielding rudimentary sorceries via their staves.
Despite their violent demeanour, Demi-Humans are capable of fostering diplomatic relations with humans, with Kenneth Haight building an alliance with a group of Demi-Humans in Fort Haight.[4]
