Crystalian is an enemy in Elden Ring
Overview[]
Mysterious, inorganic beings with crystalline bodies, who cleave close to the ideals of the Primeval Current and are regarded as guests by the sorcerers.[1] They possess a form of cognition known as the "wisdom of the stone"[2], and bear the sole purpose of safeguarding their crystals until the end.[3] They wield weaponry fashioned from crystal, a deed impossible for a human, and are believed by some to await the return of their creator who will craft them new brethren.[3] In combat, Crystalians are highly resistant to attacks. Breaking their stance will lower their defence, rendering them significantly more susceptible to all forms of attack, and prevent most weapons from bouncing of them. Putrid Crystalians, infected by Scarlet Rot, also exist. Although their movesets are identical to the standard variations, they also inflict Scarlet Rot buildup.

Bosses[]
Background[]
A ringblade-wielding Crystalian located at the very bottom of the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel.
Strategies[]
Since this Crystalian is encountered on its own, its pretty easy to deal with it via jumping heavy attacks to break its Stance.
Do still be wary of the Crystalian's ranged attacks as they can hit at inopportune times.
Background[]
A pair of Crystalians located in a wide chamber at the end of the Academy Crystal Cave.
Strategies[]
Generally only one is aggressive at a time. Since the spear-wielder pursues more actively it's generally best to try and take care of it first.
The pillars in the room can be used to hide from the staff-wielders sorceries.
Background[]
A pair of Crystalians located at the end of Altus Tunnel.
Strategies[]
There are no objects in the arena to hide behind and it's quite small, so if no Spirit Ash is used you will be under near-constant assault by the duo, as the spear-wielder pursues and the ringblade-wielder attacks from afar.
Keep in mind that backstabs are still available even if the Crystalians are armored so dashing in for a Critical Attack with a Strike weapon is very useful to make sure one dies as quickly as possible.Gallery[]
