A knife made by sharpening hard crystal. Signature weapon of glintstone miners.

Used as tool to extract glintstone from broken rock, and as such a faint magic enwreathes the blade.

Acquisition[]

Found in a chest inside the Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel located in Liurnia of the Lakes. After taking the first elevator after the Site of Grace down and walking across a wooden beam it is inside the second room on the right, guarded by two distracted Marionette Soldiers.

Notes[]

  • Unusually for a weapon upgraded with Smithing Stones, this weapon cannot be buffed or have its affinity changed.
  • The scaling favors an equal split between Strength and Intelligence, with the higher Physical base damage making the Strength-scaling more equivalent to the technically higher Intelligence-scaling.
    • Surprisingly only 20 points/5% of total Attack Power behind when focused purely on Strength or Intelligence, or hybridizing Strength/Intelligence, Strength/Dexterity, or Dexterity/Intelligence.
  • Decent raw damage but the unusual, for a dagger anyway, lack of a critical multiplier means it ends up being outclassed by all of the other daggers, especially the Dagger and the Miséricorde, for the purpose of critical hits.
  • Pairs well with a Magic or Cold affinity Bloodstained Dagger due to its also scaling well with Strength.

Upgrade Information[]

  • Upgraded with regular Smithing Stones.
  • Cannot have its Affinity or Skill changed.
  • The upper number in the Atk column denotes Physical base damage while the lower, colored number in the Atk column denotes elemental base damage: red for Fire damage, yellow for Lightning damage, orange for Holy damage, and cyan for Magic damage.
  • See the Weapon Scaling page for what the scaling values mean.
