Crucible Knight Ordovis is an optional duo boss in Elden Ring. He is encountered alongside another Crucible Knight at Auriza Hero's Grave.

Background[]

Ordovis was a leader of the Crucible Knights who served Lord Godfrey.[1] He was one of the order's two most-renowned knights, and his men bore the mark of the axe.[2][3]

Like his men, Ordovis was possessed of the strength to channel the ancient powers of the Crucible.[1] His greatsword was forged with primordial gold, and is imbued with its holy life energies.[2][4] As the Erdtree flourished and its origins became a distant memory, the Crucible Knights were viewed with scorn.[5]

Notes[]

  • Redmane Knight Ogha can break this fight if summoned before the duo notices the player, as their Great Arrows will push them away from their spawn points and therefore break their AI.
