A captivating vista of brilliant blue flowers, intermingled with colossal stone coffins of unknown origin that seemingly drifted to this place.Map: Southern Shore

The Cerulean Coast is a subregion of the Realm of Shadow in Shadow of the Erdtree.

Overview[]

The Cerulean Coast is located on the Southern Shore of the Realm of Shadow. It is connected to Charo's Hidden Grave, Foot of the Jagged Peak, Gravesite Plain, and the Stone Coffin Fissure. The area is revealed on the Shadow Realm map when Map: Southern Shore has been collected.

The Cerulean Coast is accessible via the Sites of Grace Pillar Path Cross south of Castle Ensis. Adventurers can traverse this region by heading north to cliffs, descending via rock formations, and proceeding south through Ellac River Cave. Glowing blue flowers and massive stone arks signify the Cerulean Coast.

The northeast Cerulean Coast contains the Finger Ruins of Rhia, and the Southern Nameless Mausoleum lies on an island to the west. A rocky southern peninsula hides a deep tunnel leading to the Stone Coffin Fissure legacy dungeon, which remains locked by a Miquella's Haligtree seal until Miquella discards his Great Rune. This story event is triggered by entering the Shadow Keep or crossing the bridge east of Bonny Village.

Background[]

A somber field of ephemeral blue lilies blooms among beached coffin-ships from beyond the Lands Between.[1][2] These stone vesels house the Congealed Putrescence of ancient, tainted life,[3] once purified in ghostflame by the deathbirds long ago.[4][5] The blue flowers are contrasted by a sea of luminous crimson lilies on the plateau above, said to be the home of the Tibia Mariners and the hidden grave of Charo.[6] Deep underground, below both fields, wilts St. Trina's Garden of Deep Purple.[7]
