Celebrant's Sickle is a dagger found in Elden Ring.

Description[]

Sickle decorated with flowers and many-colored fabrics. Ceremonial tool used by dancers during the festivities of Dominula. Its attacks can slip through an enemy's guard.

Crafted from human bone. Grants trace amounts of runes on landing attacks.

Acquisition[]

Location: Altus Plateau

Two of them are found a bit east of the Sites of Grace Windmill Village Site of Grace.

Notes[]

  • This weapon is wielded by the young maidens who play a central role in the festival.[1]
  • Grants 10 Runes every time an enemy is hit.
  • The strongest dagger for the Keen affinity, with its A being just on the verge of an S-scaling. Otherwise somewhat subpar or average when it comes to damage, including the otherwise Dexterity-scaling Lightning and Cold affinities.
    • Despite this its Keen affinity actually gives it slightly weaker Dexterity-scaling for "bullet"-type (i.e. doesn't scale directly with the used weapon's damage) Skills with a Keen, Quality, Lightning, or Cold affinity, giving them usually about 2% less damage than they otherwise would have. This includes, as an example, the skills Beast's Roar, Storm Blade, Thunderbolt, and Hoarfrost Stomp (these skills however perform as normal on any affinity besides Keen).
  • All attacks ignore 50% of guarded damage negation, though the dagger's low Attack Power may make it appear to be lower than that.
    • Pairs well with non-physical affinities such as Magic since those are usually already only partially negated by guarding and the ignored guarding damage negation applies to all forms of damage, not just Physical.
    • As a dagger it will bounce away when hitting Medium Shields and Greatshields which means the weapon should preferably be used two-handed when attacking against those so that the guard-piercing can be fully exploited.


Upgrade Information[]

  • Upgraded with regular Smithing Stones.
  • Can have its Affinity and Skill changed.
  • All non-physical Affinities lower all types of guarded damage negation by 5%, except for the associated element where the damage negation increases by 25% and another element also increases by 15%.
    • Magic negation receives the secondary 15% negation bonus on Sacred and Cold affinities, Fire negation gets the increase on Lightning affinity, Lightning negation gets the increase on Fire and Flame Art affinities, and Holy negation gets the increase on Magic affinity.
  • The upper number in the Atk column denotes Physical base damage while the lower, colored number in the Atk column denotes elemental base damage: red for Fire damage, yellow for Lightning damage, orange for Holy damage, and cyan for Magic damage.
