Cathedral of Manus Celes is a location in Elden Ring. It is located on the Moonlight Altar in Liurnia of the Lakes. This area becomes accessible near the end of Ranni's questline.
Overview[]
A large, dilapidated cathedral sitting atop the Moonlight Altar, a vast plateau overlooking Liurnia. The cathedral is guarded by Adula, a dragon in the service of Ranni the Witch. Within the cathedral itself, a large number of Starlight Shards can be found. Near the back of the church, there is a hole which leads to a small cavern, where Ranni's doll can be found sitting atop the corpse of her Two Fingers.
Sites of Grace[]
The Cathedral of Manus Celes site of grace is located inside the cathedral, surrounded by Starlight Shards, near a hole leading to one of Ranni's dolls.

Notes[]
- The cathedral's architecture matches the Church of Vows and the Cathedral of Manus Metyr, implying all three buildings were constructed by the Nox.
Trivia[]
- The name "Manus Celes" means "Hidden Hand" or "Celestial Hand" in Latin, though Celes is not a standard Latin word. It is derived from manus ("hand") and cēlēs ("to conceal, cover, or hide"), caeles ("deity, god; heaven-faring"), or caelestis ("heavenly, celestial").
- Cælestial is an archaic spelling of celestial.
- Its meaning may be intentionally ambiguous, as multiple interpretations supported by contextual evidence.
- The "Hidden Hand" reading may allude to the hidden presence of the Two Fingers beneath the cathedral.
- The "Celestial Hand," "Heavenly Hand," and "Hand of God" interpretations are supported by the abundant Starlight Shards in the area and the Two Fingers' association with Metyr, Mother of Fingers and the Greater Will.
