Castle Sol is a dungeon in Elden Ring.

Overview

A castle in the northern Mountaintops of the Giants. The master of Castle Sol was once given half of a medallion that would allow him to visit Miquella's Haligtree. The castle was the site of an attempt to trigger an eclipse, in order to restore the soul of Miquella's comrade, however the sun was not swallowed and the master of the castle lost hope of ever seeing the Haligtree. Commander Niall, a veteran of Castle Sol, remained in the castle, commanding the spirits of his army of no nation to protect his long-passed master.
