Bloody Wolf was one of the five characters introduced in the Elden Ring Closed Network Test.

Unlike the Prophet and Warrior origins, Bloody Wolf, along with Champion and Enchanted Knight, would not appear in the final game.

Recreating[]

Though this class isn't available in the final release of the game, it can be recreated.

The weapon and the shield can be acquired early, as the Bastard Sword is bought from the Nomadic Merchant at the Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace in the Weeping Peninsula and the Iron Roundshield is bought from the Nomadic Merchant outside of Coastal Cave in western Limgrave.

The Armor Set and the Skill's Ash of War require access to Leyndell, Royal Capital and thus need 2 Great Runes.
WARNING: Both the Armor Set and the Ash of War becomes inaccessible after defeating Maliketh, the Black Blade unless you start a new Journey. The Raging Wolf Set requires completion of the first two invasions as part of Tanith's questline at Volcano Manor to gain the Letter to Bernahl and be able to invade Vargram the Raging Wolf and Errant Sorcerer Wilhelm inside of the Fortified Manor in Leyndell, Royal Capital and gain the set. Ash of War: Thunderbolt meanwhile is dropped by a Teardrop Scarab west-northwest of the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace, in the courtyard hidden under the gigantic wing of Gransax and is guarded by a Black Dumpling Albinauric.

Suitable Origins[]

The Vagabond origin is arguably the most well-suited for this purpose as it has stats that are very similar to the Bloody Wolf's, can wield the Bastard Sword two-handed without any additional stats (and can wield it one-handed with 2 more points in Strength) and the Iron Roundshield one-handed, and wears an armor set of similar weight. It does however need at least 2 more points in Endurance to wield the weapon and the shield with either Armor Set, without even including Talismans.

The Hero origin, while not quite as suited stat-wise and having worse armor, is still decently suitable as it only needs 1 more point in Dexterity to wield the Bastard Sword and can comfortably wield the weapon and shield without having to increase its Endurance.
