Background[]
- Main article: Bloodfiends
Long ago, a subjugated tribe was saved from the ravages of war when they encountered the Formless Mother, who transformed them into bloodfiends.[1][2]
The bloodfiends make offerings of blood to the Formless Mother, sometimes even spilling their own blood in devotion.[3] Their sacred spears are central to their rituals, serving as instruments of communion with the mother of truth, an outer god who desires a wound.[4] From her wound, Sacred Bloody Flesh may fall—a raw, blood-soaked meat that never dries or rots, valued as a delicacy by the bloodfiends.[5]
The bloodfiends cultivate Sanguine Amaryllis, blood-red flowers with meaty petals, grown in pools of blood. These flowers may reflect their admiration for the beauty of blood.[6]
Characteristics[]
Some of their weapons, sanctified through blood rituals, are capable of spraying stored blood when executing strong attacks.[7]
Variants[]
- Bloodfiend (arm)

- Bloodfiend (fork)
