Background[]
- Main article: Bloodfiends
Long ago, a subjugated tribe was saved from ravaged by war. They encountered the Formless Mother and were transformed into bloodfiends.[1]
They perform offerings of blood to the Formless Mother. At times, the bloodfiends will spill even their own blood.[2] Their sacred spears of blood are the instruments of communion with the mother of truth, who desires a wound.[3] From her wound, Sacred Bloody Flesh will sometimes fall — a raw meat soaked with blood that never dries nor rots and is considered a delicacy of the bloodfiends.[4] Some of their weapons are sanctified by a blood ritual and are capable of spraying blood stored within when executing a strong attacks.[5]
The bloodfiends grow Sanguine Amaryllis in pools of blood.[6]
