Axe Talisman is a talisman in Elden Ring.
Description[]
Acquisition[]
- Obtained from a chest in the cellar of Mistwood Ruins, eastern Limgrave. A Runebear lies very close to the entrance.
Effect[]
Increases the damage of charged heavy melee attacks by 10%.
Notes[]
- Doesn't enhance the Dark Moon Greatsword's charged heavy attacks when they're buffed by its Unique Skill: Moonlight Greatsword.
- Doesn't work with the projectiles launched by the charged heavy attacks of the Frozen Needle or Wing of Astel.
- Has strong synergy with the Roar Medallion if using a skill that boosts heavy attacks.
- Skill compatible with both are Barbaric Roar, Braggart's Roar, Shriek of Milos, and War Cry.
- Synergy with the Spear Talisman with weapons that have charged heavy attacks that deal Pierce damage.
- Weapon types that primarily have thrusting heavy attacks are Great Spears, Spears (except for the Death Ritual Spear, Partisan, and Spiked Spear), Heavy Thrusting Swords (except for the Great Épée), Thrusting Swords (except for the Estoc), and Straight Swords (except for the Broadsword, Cane Sword, Carian Knight's Sword, and Lazuli Glintstone Sword).
- Other notable weapons are the Claymore, Lucerne, Nagakiba, Pickaxe, Rusted Anchor, Warpick, and the Zweihander and Troll's Golden Sword.
- Works well with the unique charged heavy attack of the Iron Cleaver and Celebrant's Cleaver, since while they are weaker than the usual Axe charged heavy attack they also include a run-up that potentially let's them be used from a safe distance to close in.
Trivia[]
- The icons is that of a Kaiden Helm and a Highland Axe.
